The new 2012 United Supreme 18" is probably the trickest 18" bike we have seen as is perfect for the smaller rider who is serious about BMX. Set up to ride like a full sized United Supreme the frame has a crmo toptube, downtube and chainstays with Crmo tapered forks and 7" United bars. The parts on the SU18 are also seriously good and boast new 8 spline sealed bearing cranks, sealed 9t cassette hub, sealed mid BB, CNC alloy stem and United pivotal seat with integrated pivotal post.
My son had been riding his 16" wheel BMX since his 6th birthday and has always attracted good comments regarding his riding. When it came time to replace his bike I looked into it thoroughly before settling for the SU18. It's proved to be a superb bike being well put together and light. size wise, it is just ever so slightly on the large side for him. He is bang on average size and got the bike for his 9th birthday. Hard to find the bike below list price
