The Springfield is one of the easiest brakes to install & adjust. All that is needed is to cut your cable to correct length, mount caliper & lever to your frame, & center your pads on the rims. That's all that's needed for an awesome set of brakes that work perfectly.

this is a great break especially for someone who doesn’t know what they’re doing with bmx break systems. it’s very easy to install because of the one center spring instead of 2 springs on the lugs, just cut the cable and mount everything and your set. BUT if you tighten the actual u break fully the arms don’t move leaving the i break slightly loose therefore making a slight rattle noise, also the lads make a really loud squeaking noise but that might just be the paint on my rims. other than that this is a solid break that stops perfectly

Got this. Realised its called a springfield because it uses a single centre spring instead of sprung loaded lugs. Very good idea and brakes well.
Easy to fit. Gotta love odyssey, Beasts
