The Williams frame is Nathan Williams’ first signature frame from Kink and features modern street geometry while retaining a classic look.
But still the frame features several subtle details that should not be overlooked. The steeper 75.5° headtube is responsive, and the short 12.75” chainstay length makes the frame nimble without compromising on tyre clearance; fitting up to 2.5” tires.
The double butted toptube and downtube with gussets on both ensure plenty of strength in the front end while the chainstay and seatstay bridge designs allot for generous tyre clearance while adding as much stiffness as possible.
Nathan’s frame of course comes standard with integrated seat post clamp, integrated chain tensioners to keep the wheel in place and removable brake mounts.
Additional details like the custom seat stay bridge badge inlay and interior dropout knurling round out both the good looks and serious functionality of the Williams frame.

Head tube angle determines the angle of your forks. A steeper HT (i.e 75°and higher) will make the bike turn quicker than a mellower angle (i.e 74.5 and lower°). The more responsive the frame, the more twitchy it will feel, especially at high speed!
Seat tube angles don’t vary too much (around 71°) and affect the centre of gravity. The steeper the angle, the shorter your bike will feel. Some frames have a mellower seat tube angle (example 69˚) which makes for a longer frame without actually being longer and reduces how fast your frame turns.
The chain stay is essentially the length of the rear end of the bike. A shorter CS length will make the bike more responsive and a longer one more stable. As a rough guide a 13.5" long chain stay is about average.
Stand over height is essentially how high your frame is. A frame with a low standover height is more responsive and easier to 'throw around' whilst a high SO height is more stable; particularly useful when going fast.All of our Scracth and dent sale items have been examined and checked by our trained mechanics and are mechanically sound and in full 100% working order. Typical Grade A include light scuffs or small chips to paint work or typical signs of pre-assembly. Or minor imperfections in the finish.
Typical Grade B products include deeper gauges and damage to paint work, often in multiple places. typically products which have been damaged in transit.
