Product Description

The Shadow VVS Front Load Stem was developed with Matt Ray and features a modified front load shape.

Matt is very particular about his ride and wanted to perfect the bar position so opted for a front load style, placing the bars lower in relation to the frame top tube to add stability and control.

Cold-forged and CNC machined 6061-T6 alloy gives the VVS Stem its strength and durability. Finished with solid oversized bolts, recessed top cap bolt with moulded and laser etched Shadow logos across the facplate and top of the stem.

    Very impressed

    My husband got this because he didn’t like the top load stem his TRL came with, and instantly all he could talk about was how much nicer and more stable/ balanced his bike felt.

    I was skeptical about a front load

    I was very skeptical about running a front load stem because they’ve changed so much since the last time that I had one. This one makes four out of my nine bikes that have front load stems now. This shadow VVS is probably my favorite. It’s compact look and the fact it doesn’t make my bars feel 15 inches high is awesome and I highly recommend this stem

    Shadow VVS Front Load Stem

    Well built stem. Changed from an Elact Metra Top Load to the Shadow.

    Just as an Info : I needed one spacer extra since the Shadow Stem is a mm higher than the Shadow... so that the Compession Cap gets preloaded.
