I've worn several pairs of non-BMX Vans Sk8-Hi over the years. These have much nicer cushioning and feel sturdier, particularly the sole and where it joins the upper. But they're also stiff in a few places, particularly the outside of the forefoot. I've taken to wearing thicker socks than I would usually, but after breaking them in they're really comfy. Love the look, the suede is nice. Haven't had to clean it yet.
