Product Description

Fairdale's Skate Pannier Rack is the easiest and simplest way to carry your skateboard on your bike.

It's built in such a way that you don't need any tools to attach it, it just clips on to almost any rear rack and secures with velcro straps.

The Pannier Rack is plastic coated for durability and has a stretch cord to hold the skateboard in place. The rack positions your board behind the rear axle to leave plenty of room for heel clearance.

    So practical

Forget trying to strap your board to the bike frame or over the handle bars if you already have a pannier rack, this is the way for sure.

With this version of the rack you can also fit in fairly wide boards and even longboards too.

One thing to keep an eye are the velcro straps that secure the skate rack to the pannier rack itself.

I recommend that one attaches at the top rail horizontally and another vertically on a side rail.

Should you lose either strap, replace it right away.

I learnt this the hard way and hit a pot hole, ejecting my board and rack, to be run over by a car (thankfully not causing any accidents) the vertical strap could not hold it all alone.

Thus why I've had to buy this my second wide skate rack from Fairdale.

I actually have the original narrow version too, but it's only really good for sub 8.75" decks mostly.

Also, when not using it, make sure the bungee cord is hooked in place instead of hanging loose.

Again, learnt this the hard way by getting it jammed up in my spokes and then having to fashion replacements that were never as good.

Top quality product, just needs some "common" sense haha
